First Response OFB 500 LT CAF System
The 500 litre Compressed Air Foam System (CAF's)

Key Points:
- Easy transportability - mounted on a tandem trailer
- OFB designed the CAF machines to enable it to be refilled twice before the air bottles need to be refilled
- Air bottles are BA bottles so that the fireman can interchanged air bottles easily in case there is a need to re-use the CAF for extra shots
- The CAF has no moving parts
- The 500 liter CAF has more fire kill ability than a standard urban fire truck.
- The trailer also has compartments built in to carry extra foam.
- Besides a first response usage; it can also be used for multiple uses such as to protect a building by designing a stanch fitting to connect it to an existing sprinkler system in remote areas or in suburban factories, also airports (sold into New Guinea for that reason), out on drill rigs etc..
