OFB CAFS puts out real fire at truck accident tragedy


It so happened that on the way back from the official testing in Melbourne, the OFB team encountered a tragedy in which a truck had crashed and was on fire. The Queensland Fire and Rescue, lacking adequate nearby water supplies, had not been able to extinguish the fire for over 4 hours. They graciously permitted the OFB team to use the CAFS system to attack the fire. The fire was out in SIX MINUTES.

The picture above shows the men from the Queensland Fire and Rescue on the CAFS machine which they used to put out the fire.
