Lymae Pty Ltd specialise in the manufacture and sale of Protective Clothing. The company predominantly uses Aramatic Polyamide Fibre materials, a man made fibre which is Inherently Fire Resistant for the working life of the garment. Lymae recommends a composite of materials for Fire Suits consisting of ADVANCE, X1715 and Q5. ADVANCE is a blend of 40% Nomex and 60% Kevlar, in a Rip Stop weave, and is NFPA 1971 – 2000 certified. ADVANCE is, to a large extent, Acid, Alkali and Organic Chemical resistant. The Vapour Barrier, X1715, is permeable and has a hydrostatic head of + 3,000 gr. Q9 is a quilted Thermal Barrier consisting of 100% Aramit Batt quilted requires a minimum TPP of 35 requires a minimum of 30.
