Worldwide Recognition of OFB CAF Systems

OFB CAF systems have been demonstrated, tested and certified in many countries around the world.

• USA Washington State, BOEING:
  • Demonstration of OFB’s CAF system was done at the Boeing Facility
  • Fuselage & Wings from a 747 were set on fire. Using a 500 Litre CAF system the fire was put out in 13 seconds
  • This test was done a second time and was completely successful in both instances in record breaking time. This has never been done with regular conventional equipment.
• USA:
  • CAF systems have been sold in Seattle Washington, the Mid West and Texas.
• AUSTRALIA:
  • Tests have been done at the Victoria University FISCAL Facility to demonstrate the effectiveness of CAF systems.
  • Tests were also done at the Woomera facilities in SA in putting out planes filled with tyres etc… All were put out in record time.
  • As was mentioned by the officials at the tests, “This is the way of the future in fire technology.
  • World’s first installation at a tyre warehouse in Brisbane was done in January, 2008. This heavily reduced the costs in comparison to any alternative fire protection system. Now with an OFB CAF system, it will actually put out the fire saving untold huge costs in damage, downtime, loss of business income and insurance premiums.
• MALAYSIA, Kuala Lumpur, BOMBA:
  • Several successful tests were performed at the Bomba fire facility.
  • The results were that OFB CAF systems are now certified in Malaysia by Bomba.
• UAE:
  • Successful pan fire tests were done at the world's largest oil exporter Aramco using Petrol, Diesel and other flammable agents.
  • Tests were done in Sagga Dubai in putting out car fires in record time.
• THAILAND:
  • Several tests were done in the Main Square Area near the King’s Palace.
  • Petroleum, tyres and wood were set on fire and using a 150 litre CAF all the fires were put out and there was still plenty of foam left in the CAF.
• MEXICO:
  • INDY 2000, Monterey Mexico
  • Only OFB CAF systems were used for fire protection of the entire race circuit.
• JAMAICA:
  • A CAF system was installed in a luxury ship that was a floating casino.
• PAPUA NEW GUINEA
  • A 1000 litre CAF system built and designed by OFB was mounted on a tandem trailer for the protection of the Lihir Gold airport.
  • OFB CAF systems have been sold in over 16 counties and continue to be in high demand.

With NFPA 11 certification achieved, which is a world recognised Standard from the USA, the demand will now increase exponentially to which OFB is gearing up to address its markets.
